Even with the ongoing technological advances and the growth of the digital age, there is still a need for graphic designers to go "old school" to make use of light boxes. These boxes can be used to typeset many things, including for instance space specific forms. These forms would need to have exact spacing to fit with the printout from specific programs. The best way to line up things precisely is to use a light box so that you can put one item over the other to achieve 100% exactness.
Instructions

Remove the lid or top of the box you have chosen to use (plastic storage or cardboard) and place the lighting source inside the box.
2Cut a small hole in the side of your box with your cutting tool. This is to allow the cord for the light to come outside the box. if you have a battery operated lighting source, you may skip this step and move on to number three, please.
3Place the glass or Plexiglas on top of the open box. Fit it snugly to the sides.
4Tape the glass or plexiglas to the sides of the box with duct tape, gorilla tape or electrical tape. This is a safety precaution.
