Look at all your photographs to see which ones you really like, then move those into a folder on your laptop that you will work with in a photo editing program, such as Photoshop. Review the selected pictures again, looking for those that show originality and creativity. Also put pictures side by side to figure out the progression you'll want for the book. Begin and end with the most stunning photos.
2Clean up any imperfections in the photo editing program. For instance, clean up items such as specks, brush out any bags under the eyes and and look closely at skin tones. Get rid of unflattering shadows and bright glares, including any red eye. While most of your shots are in color, add a few black and white shots to the book.
3Print out the finished photographs on high quality photo paper. Take your disc or USB to a professional printer if you do not have a good photo quality printer. Create contact sheets for each of your models so they can order the pictures they want from you.
4Build your portfolio on an ongoing basis, using many types of photographic looks. Potential clients will call you back for interviews on different projects so you'll want new pictures to show.
