Knowing how to set up a glam shot helps you find and capture that natural moment from your model. A glam shot is a photograph of a model intended to bring out her natural charisma and personality. Ask your model what she would like to wear for the shot. Also, ask where she intends to display the pictures. Remember that the best glam shots display the model in a natural perspective, highlighting her natural charisma, and surprising her with too many changes at the actual shoot can prevent her from feeling relaxed in front of your camera.

Plan the layout for your glam shot by selecting a theme that contributes to your model, without pulling focus away from him. Use solid backdrops to center your model, making him the central focus of your shot. Alternately, use a themed background to suggest something about your model.
