How to Create Scary Eye Photos ~ Enhance Photography Skill

Photo editing software like Photoshop can help individuals to create awesome unique photos and images. One of the coolest types of manipulations you can create in photo editing software is scary monster or demon eyes. This typically involves taking a head shot image and discoloring the eyes and adding a glowing effect to create the illusion of inhuman presence. This effect is pretty easy to do and can add a scary, horror edge to your photograph.

Instructions

Open up your photo editing software. Click on "File" and then "Open." Locate your photo and double click on it. This will open it up in the software. Duplicate the image layer. Change the first layer setting to screen and the second layer to the soft light setting. Press CTRL +SHIFT+E. This will flatten both photograph layers.

Duplicate the image again. Go to the Image tab at the top of your software and click on it. Go to "Adjustment" and then "Hue/Saturation" and then change the master saturation to -100.

Set the zoom on the photograph to 200%. Click on the Eraser tool from the tool bar on the software. Use this tool to erase the iris of the eye in the photograph but not the pupil or the whites of the eyes.

Click "Image" and then "Adjustment" and finally "Brightness/Contrast." Set the brightness to -82 and the contrast to -6.

Click "Layers" and select "New Adjustment Layer" and then "Color Balance." The "Color Balance" menu box will open up. Click the first box marked "Color Level" and change the values to +88. Select the second box and change the value to +63 and change the third box to -32. Click "Midtones" in the "Tone Balance" section and then check the Preserve Luminosity option. This will make the eyes glow yellow.

Change the values in the "Color Levels" boxes to make the eyes glow red. Change the values to +74, -32, -71.
