How to Create Printable Photo Albums

There are many great ways to take photos off of your computer that will actually improve the way you view them. Over the past few years, online photo albums have been a steady trend, but more recently people are looking for ways to once again take their photos and make them into physical albums. After you have printed out the photos, you can place them into the album of your choice or have them bound into books.

Instructions

    1

Locate the pictures that you would like to put in the album. If they are not yet on your computer, simply scan them and group them together in the same folder.

    2

Check online to find the program or software that best suits you and the pictures. There are countless online sites that offer templates for free, including FlipAlbum.com, MixBook.com and Blurb.com. Other sites may charge a fee for software, such as: Photobucket.com or PrintPix.com. If you would like to buy a program for your computer, check out the different types of photographic software including PhotoELF or Adobe InDesign.

    3

Upload the photos after you have found a platform that you like. Some programs may allow you to complement your photos by adding text or borders.

    4

Make sure that the templates you have laid out are complete, and then prepare them for print. Decide whether to print page by page or complete the entire album before printing. To obtain the best look for your photos, print them on a high quality printer with photo paper, or have them printed at a local discount store, supermarket or drug store for a reasonable price.

    5

Print the album. Most online software will allow you to download the pages that you would like to print. If you are using computer software, it may have you directly print the finished project.
