How to Photograph for a High School Reunion ~ Enhance Photography Skill

High school reunions are joyous occasions where old friends meet up with each other five, 10 or more years after graduation. Capturing the reunion in photograph form is a great way to preserve the memories, both past and present, that were formed. Taking interesting photographs of the graduates makes those memories even more prominent.

Instructions

Take photographs of the members of the sports teams. Take reunion photos of the football, soccer, baseball and volleyball teams. Bring props for each team. For instance, for the soccer team, bring a soccer ball. For the football team, bring a football and helmet. Weather permitting, take the pictures outside, especially if a field is nearby.

Shoot photographs of the cheerleading squad, flag squad and band. Have the members bring their old equipment and instruments. Get pictures of the squads and band in different formations. Get the cheerleaders to start a cheer.

Get photographs of couples that stayed together. One good way to photograph a couple is to photograph them on the dance floor during a dance.

Photograph the members of the clubs and class council. For a group like the student council, take photographs of them at a long table like it is a public board meeting.

Take photographs of every graduate at the reunion that mirror the photos from the senior yearbook. This provides good before and after high school photographs.
