Strange eye colors in photographs are caused by camera flashes reflecting off of the retina and back into the camera. The little shield-like mirrors inside animal eyes that assist in their nocturnal vision can result in an odd green disc of color in the eyes. This is an issue that can be solved with a few clicks in Adobe Photoshop.

Open your photograph in Photoshop by clicking "File" in the tool bar and then "Open." Search for the photograph available on your drive and click "OK." If you have a hard copy of the photograph, you will need to use a scanner to copy the file onto your computer. Follow the scanner manufacturer's instructions for best results.
2Zoom in on the discolored eyes by clicking "View" in the tool bar and "Zoom In."
3Locate the "Burn Tool" in the left hand tool box. The icon should look like a small hand with the index finger and thumb pinched together. The tool may be set on default as the "Dodge Tool" which looks like a circle with a pin in it. Hold "Control" on your keyboard and click the "Dodge Tool" to reveal a drop-down list of various tools. From this list select "Burn Tool."
4Adjust the brush size by clicking the "Brush" icon in the top tool bar. Push the triangular icon from side to side to select a brush size similar to the discolored pupils in your photograph. Click the "Range" icon in the top tool bar and set it to "Shadows." Click the "Exposure" icon and adjust the slide to 25 percent.
5Hover the brush over the pupils and click two or three times to burn in the pupils. Adjust the exposure to achieve the best degree of darkness.
