How to Code a Picture to Put it on a MySpace Page

There are many options for making your MySpace page different from everyone else's page. Putting pictures on your MySpace page is one way to make it more interesting and creative.

Instructions

Create a Photobucket account. This is easy to do and it's free (see Resources below). All you need is an email address.

Upload your photos to the Photobucket account. There are instructions on the website that will help you do this.

Log in to your MySpace account. Decide where you want the image to go. If you want it in the "about me" section, you will follow the "edit about me" link. Follow the link of the section where you want your picture to go.

Insert this code into the section where you want the picture to go:
Where it says URL HERE, put the image location. For example, look in your Photobucket account for the image you want to use, copy down the link that says "DIRECT LINK" and put that link into the code where it says URL HERE. A direct link might look like this: http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h244/stopdropandrollga/betsey.jpg. So, the entire string of code that you would insert would look like this:

Make sure that your string of code is exactly correct and that quotation marks and all the symbols are included. Hit the Save button and go back to your homepage to make sure the image was inserted correctly.
