The bane of any photographer's existence is that nearly impossible task: taking a group shot in which every person looks good. However, digital photo editing programs have made it fairly simple to copy a face from one photo and paste it into another photo, enabling you to tweak group photos to create the perfect shot. Face replacement is also fun for novelty photos.
Instructions

Open the picture from which you want to take the face.
2Use the free selection or lasso tool to carefully trace around the face.
3Copy the face. In most software, you can copy selected objects using "Ctrl" + "C."
4Open the photo in which you want to paste the face in a new window or tab in your photo editing application.
5Paste the face into a new layer on the photo in which you want to replace the face. You can use "Ctrl" + "V" in most software.
6Move the pasted face to the proper position.
7Resize and rotate the face as necessary to get it to match the original photo as closely as possible. You may need to adjust the color as well.
