2Wrap one entire side with tin foil, cleanly. It is important that there are minimal crinkles or creases in the foil because these will be very visible when people are close to the picture frame looking at the picture. Tape or glue the foil to the back of the cardboard.
3Apply adhesive to the photograph. Using clear tape on the front of the photograph to stick it onto the foil is an approach that can add to the charm of the tin foil. You can also use glue or wet-mount on the back of the photograph for a more clean-cut look. Apply thoroughly.
4Mount the photograph onto the side of cardboard that is fully wrapped with tin foil -- Not the side that has visible tape or material holding the foil to the cardboard. Place the adhesive sticky-side-up against the tin foil and press down so it sticks firmly.
