Kenko tubes are extension tubes used to reduce the focusing distance and magnification of lenses on a camera. The focusing distance is the minimum distance between the subject and the lens where the lens can produce an in-focus image. The magnification is how large the subject appears on a photograph. Kenko extension tubes are mainly used in macro-photography and in wildlife photography. Kenko sells tubes of three differing lengths --- 12 mm, 20 mm, and 36 mm. The longer the tube, the shorter the focusing distance and the higher the magnification.

Turn your camera off.
2Remove the lens of your camera.
3Attach a Kenko extension tube to the body of the camera.
4Attach the lens to the Kenko tube and take photographs.
