When taking pictures indoors or outdoors at night, there never is enough light. The pictures come out dark, the image has bad shadows or a person can't see the subject of the image at all. Adding a light to your camera is expensive, sometimes costing more than the camera itself. Eliminate the problem of having fuzzy, dark images in photographs for good. Pick up a few items from a dollar store and make an instant light source for any camera using liquid crystal display (LCD) lights. LCD lights are small, very bright and only need a small power source.
Instructions
- 1
Remove the key ring hoops from each of the LCD key lights. Check each of the lights, and make sure each light has a strong continuous even beam of light. Replace with new batteries if necessary. All of the lights need the same even, continuous light for good lighting on the subject being photographed.
2Lay each of the LED key ring lights side by side with the on switches all lying upward in the same direction. Wrap electrical tape around all the lights without covering the on switches on any of the key ring lights.
3Place the combined lights facing in the same direction the camera lens faces with the on-off switches facing upwards away from the camera. Do not place the lights over your camera's operating switches or the access panel to the batteries.
4Hold the lights against the camera casing with one hand, and wrap the Velcro around the lights on the camera. Ensure the lights are securely attached with the Velcro strip. Position the lights where they won't get in the way of the camera lens.
5Turn on all the lights. Take some test shots, and check the images' lighting. If the lighting is too dark, add a couple more key ring lights to the camera. If the image is too bright turn off one or two of the key ring lights.
